Substance abuse and violence prevention:  Coordinates and implements programs at all grade levels using trained professionals and research-based programs through the Region XV Shared Services Cooperative.

Special Education:  Serves as a member of the ARD committee and helps identify and accommodate students with special learning or behavioral needs.

Individual counseling:  The school counselor is not a trained psychologist, but has training in counseling and is able to meet with students individually as needed.
